Improve the quality, sustainability, and speed of economic reform.

Further improving the capacity of the SNEC to formulate and monitor the implementation of national economic policies and development management, including those related to regional integration.
- Project Outputs

The expected kay results during the period from September 20 October 2008 to 31 May 2011 are as follows:
1. Economic development assessments and analysis, and policy briefs, and
2. Staff's capacity will be further deepened in policy-oriented research and analysis.
- Consulting Services
-
One (1) International Economic Policy Advisor will be recruited for 6 person months of consultancy inputs (performing on intermittent basis over 36 months) including training, provision of supervision and guidance, and advice to the technical and senior staff of SNEC on macro economic issues, and other policy related matters. Six (6) National Consultants (performing on need and intermittent basis over 36 months), each on macroeconomics, monetary and fiscal policy, agriculture and rural development, infrastructure development, trade and regional integration, and private sector development.
