Project Outcome
Description of Outcome Progress Toward Outcome
The expected outcome is the establishment of regional services to (i) provide training and support to DMCs in anticorruption preventive measures; (ii) promote the utilization of the CRC to conduct social audits of public services; and (iii) promote utilization of CIB techniques to ensure that capacity, resources, and people are managed to deliver effective, efficient, affordable, and equitable public services. The RETA enhanced the capacities of participating educational and training institutes and service providers; the result of which is long term benefits to their countries through improved services.

Description of Project Outputs Status of Implementation Progress (Outputs, Activities and Issues)
The desired outputs of the RETA are (i) training course design on developing a corruption prevention program; (ii) conduct of a training course on developing corruption prevention program for DMC officials; (iii) MACA sustainability plan for the delivery of training courses on corruption prevention to DMCs; (iv) training of educational/training institutes on the use of CRC methodology and CIB techniques; (v) two small projects on CRC and two small projects on CIB; (vi) incorporation of CRC and CIB in the teaching and training curricula of four educational/training institutes which had been mentored and coached on CRC and CIB application; and (vii) updated versions of CRC and CIB Learning Tool Kits. The TA has been completed and all outputs were delivered.
Linkage to Country/Regional Strategy This TA supports ADB's overarching goal of reducing poverty in its developing member countries as it addresses two major strategies: 1) combating corruption; and 2) improving public services delivery. The TA will contribute to the overall efforts to continuously enhance the capacity of DMCs to make services work for the people, particularly the poor, in a sustainable manner.
