URM launched the first issue of News from Uzbekistan in the first quarter of 2000. The quarterly newsletter covers ADB activities and events in Uzbekistan, and development issues of mutual concern to ADB, the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and other donor and multilateral organizations.

URM hopes you find it a useful forum for the exchange of ideas on the unique development environment of Uzbekistan and the challenges facing its economy in transition.
