The main objective of the approved project (financed under Loan 1410-THA) is to improve environmental quality, and public health and welfare in Samut Prakarn Province by providing modern, reliable, and cost-effective wastewater collection and treatment facilities for the most developed urban and industrial districts in the province combined with programs to improve environmental monitoring and enforcement, as well as industrial pollution prevention and clean technology transfer.
