Project Data Sheet (PDS): Overview
The proposed SSTA will constitute a part of the Philippine education sector study, to be carried out jointly by the Government, Bank and the World Bank. This joint sector study will form the base study of the new Estrada administration. The final goal of the SSTA is to produce a document that will be avaluable input into the formulation of policy under the new administration. The Public Communications Policy (PCP) recognizes that transparency and accountability are essential to development effectiveness. It establishes the disclosure requirements for documents and information ADB produces or requires to be produced.
The Accountability Mechanism provides a forum where people adversely affected by ADB-assisted projects can voice and seek solutions to their problems and report alleged noncompliance of ADB's operational policies and procedures.
