The Project is to promote efficient district heating and gas supply to households in about 14 urban areas. It will provide substantial environmental and health benefits in selected urban centers of IMAR. The environmental benefits include lower coal consumption (both indoors and outdoors) which will result in reduced emissions of TSP, SO2, NOx, and CO2.
