The proposed project will improve one of the key east-west roads that will run through Heilongjiang from Nenjiang, on the border with Inner Mongolia, to Fuyuan, a major trading center near the border with the Russian Federation. The proposed project is consistent with ADB's strategy for the transport sector, which focuses on assistance to the less developed inland provinces where the majority of the poor live. Read More
