Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department (UPPWD) is requesting financing assistance from ADB to take up specific parts of the state-wide road improvement mandate. The Program proposed for ADB's assistance seeks to upgrade and rehabilitate about 1,138 km of major district roads (MDRs), thereby improving connectivity and fostering inclusive economic growth.
