The Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) East West Economic Corridor (EWEC) provides a conduit for Lao agricultural surpluses to reach the neighboring countries of Thailand and Vietnam and even beyond. There is essentially unlimited demand from these countries for Lao agricultural and rural produce.
