Khuvsgul Lake National Park (KLNP) in Khuvsgul Aimag, northern Mongolia, was established in 1992. The park encompasses 2.5 million ha of pristine forests and snow-capped mountains which surround Khuvsgul Lake, one of the most important sources of fresh water in the world.
